Evelyn Irene Spencer

On Saturday, November 3, 2018, Evelyn Irene Spencer, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, friend, and great grandmother passed away at the age of 94 years. Evelyn, also known as Aunt Dolly, GG, and Aunt Evelyn, will be forever remembered by her many nieces, nephews, children, grandchildren, and dear friends. Evelyn was renowned for her famous pies and beautiful handmade crafts. She always had a smile on her face and a zest for life. She was an active member of her church community and her support for others was known and felt by many. She is survived by her son Michael H. Spencer, her daughter Cynthia A.(Mark) Brooks, grandchildren Mickie and Mindie Spencer, Lyndsay (Jake) Krengel, Hallie Brooks, great grandson Noah G. Brooks, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved as her own children.

Her family finds comfort in knowing that she has now reunited with her beloved husband of 68 years, William Spencer, who preceded her in death four years ago.

Visitation will begin at 10:00am followed by a graveside service at 11:30am on Wednesday, November 7, at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel and Cemetery, 7301 E Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, TX, 76112.
