Graveside service: 2 p.m. Saturday in Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
Evelyn was born Sept. 12, 1920, in Elizabethtown, Ky. She was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Fort Worth who spent her remaining years in Moody. Evelyn was an avid reader and loved her Red Birds. A spunky lady, she lived her life to the fullest.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Collins Sr.; daughter, Mildred Ann Oney; and son, Gilbert Lee Collins.
Survivors: Son, John W. Collins Jr. and wife, Lois; daughter, Nancy Bentley; grandson, Scott W. Bentley and wife, Dawn; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
