Mrs. Emma Louise Hamilton

Emma Hamilton was born in 1928 in Cleburne TX. She was a Fort Worth resident for over 72 years and passed away on December 30, 2022 at 94 years old following a brief illness.

Emma was the youngest daughter of Coleman and Emma Geary. After the turn of the century, her parents settled in Cleburne, TX.

Emma later moved to Fort Worth, TX and married Calvin Coolidge Hamilton and established their residence at Morningside Dr. She had two sons, Robert and Tommy Geary.

Emma was a long-time member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church. She served in various ministries throughout her time: adult missions, vacation bible school, prayer band and sang in the church choir.

Emma is proceeded in death by her husband and sons. She is survived by her three granddaughters:

Mukiako Wright (Rodney Sr.), Nkosi Geary-Smith (Stephen Smith) ,Aminah Sheard (Brandon Sheard); Daughter-in-law Janet Geary. Seven great grandchildren:

Imazhane' Wright, Rodney Wright II, Nyah Wright, Laila Wright, Rhyan Smith, Neiman Smith, Lenox Sheard and one great great granddaughter, Falon O'Cain, as well as a vast number of relatives and friends.
