Emily Louise Wire

Emily was born in Oakland, CA on May 19, 1948. She graduated from Encinal High School in Alameda.

In 1969, Emily earned her cosmetology license from Marinello Beauty School. She served the San Leandro, CA community as a hair stylist until retirement.Emily was married to her loving husband Joseph K. Wire on July 29, 2000 in San Leandro, CA.

They moved to Fort Worth during her retirement years. She dedicated her time whole-heartedly to her family, four-legged fur babies, and friendships built through service to the local community. Just as her eye for style served her clientele well in her career, she brought the same passion to her love of gardening and home improvement.

Emily Louise Wire was preceded in death by John A. Morris (father) and Eleanor J. (Cuenca) Morris (mother).She was survived by spouse Joseph K. Wire; daughters Christy Hall and Michelle Wartenbe; and grandson Schuyler Hall.

Memorials are suggested in the form of donations or volunteer hours to Tarrant County Meals on Wheels. Emily was a proud volunteer for many years distributing and delivering food for the Eastside Fort Worth site centered around Saintsville Cathedral. The friendships and lifelong bonds formed there were immeasurable to her.
