Emily B. Pinkard-Moore, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, in an Arlington hospital with her children at her bedside. Funeral: Noon Saturday at Carter Metropolitan C.M.E., 4601 Wichita Street. Pastor K. Heath, officiating. Visitation: Noon to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Survivors: She shall forever be remembered in the hearts of her children, Alan Moore, Virginia Pittman (Nathaniel), Barry Moore (Beverly), Donald Moore, Charles Moore and Harold Moore; three sisters, Gracie Taylor (Charles), Ruth Hauntz and Onetia Pinkard; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
