Eliodoro Elizondo was born on July 5, 1934, in Tamaulipas, Mexico, and passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on January 22, 2025. He was the cherished son of Jose and Gregoria Elizondo and a caring brother to Enrique, Noel, Rudy, Pepe, Tievo, Estella, and Morena.
Eliodoro's life was a powerful testament of love, family, and faith. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Anna Faye Elizondo, with whom he raised seven remarkable children. As a dedicated salesman for Dr. Pepper for over 40 years, Eliodoro earned a reputation for his tireless work ethic, kindness, and generosity. His passion for building homes for his family and friends was an inspiration to all who knew him. He had a gift for restoring cars and owned a mechanic shop at one time, this was a testament to his creativity and perseverance.
Eliodoro's memory will live on through his children, Christina Gonzales, Christopher Elizondo Sr. and wife Deanna, Eliodoro Elizondo Jr. and wife Maria, Alicia Elizondo, Antonio Sanchez Sr., Jose Sanchez and wife Emily, and Esequiel Sanchez Jr. and wife Victoria; 23 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren, who will continue to cherish his memory and draw strength from his unwavering love, dedication and inspiration
A visitation will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home on February 7, 2025 from 12pm to 2pm with a rosary service at 1:30pm. Burial will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park. All family and friends are invited to reception following the burial at Crowley Recreation Center from 3pm to 6pm.
