Doug was born on July 18, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Western Hills High School and attended the University of Houston where he was President of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He also attended TCU. He worked at the United Postal Services for 30+ years. He loved golf and spending time with his friends and family. Doug was an avid girls softball coach for many years. Doug was also a longtime TCU supporter.
Doug is preceded in death by his father Bill Stuart. He is survived by his mother; Betty Stuart, brother; Dennis Stuart (Rhonica) sister in-laws; Terry Stuart and Carlene Boerschig, his wife; Karen Boatwright Stuart, daughters; Alison Samuels (Scott) and Jennifer Paramore (Kevin), grandchildren; Shaydi and Shelby Paramore, Royce and Brady Geymer, nieces and nephews; Kyle, Aryn, Hannah, Chris and Jackie, grand nieces and nephews; Eli, Xander, Michael, Vito, Filippa and Nicholas.
