FORT WORTH -- Dorothy E. Stowe passed away Friday, May 13, 2011.
Funeral: 3 p.m. Tuesday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
Dorothy was born in Richmond, Va., on Dec. 9, 1922. She married Don J. Stowe on March 10, 1941. They moved to Fort Worth and made it their home for almost 60 years.
She was a loving wife, mother, and "Nanny." One special angel.
Survivors: Her children, Don J. Stowe Jr., Walter H. Stowe, Sherrie L. White, Diana M. Mendoza and Cynthia A. Martinez; 24 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
