Dot was born in Burleson on Aug. 3, 1923. She graduated from Handley High School in 1941. She was married to Arthur M. Smith Jr. on June 10, 1952. Dot worked in early voting for the Tarrant County elections office. She was a lifetime member of Handley United Methodist Church.
The family would like to say thank you to Heart to Heart Hospice for their wonderful care and support.
She was preceded in death by her husband and sisters, Helen Ruth, Frances and Nelda.
Survivors: Daughter, Laurie Stovall and her husband, Jim; granddaughter, Breanna Kuhlmann; niece, Tedye Collins; nephew, Jim Brewer and wife, Liz; and numerous great-nieces.
