She was born in San Saba, Texas on March 24, 1930. Dorothy graduated from Whitesboro Schools.
She was married to William Roy Sexton on December 21, 1951.
She was a member of Westside Baptist Church of Corsicana, TX, and had a passion for baking, sewing, and golf.
She was survived by her children: Jeanne Daily, Valarie Barker, DVM, Barbara Sivils, William Sexton, Mary Sexton, and Stephanie Suzanne Scott, whom she loved like a daughter; grandchildren: Misty Daily Nailon, Laura Daily Jones, Robert Keith Barker, Kevin Barker, Kenneth Barker, William Corey Sivils, Taylor Wayne Sivils, and Tony Marshall , plus 16 Great Grandchildren; Brothers and Sisters Cordelia Murray of Fort Worth, TX, Curtis Cantrell of Fort Worth, TX, and Julie Lane of Olney, TX.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 2:00 PM, May 31, 2019, at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be an hour prior.
