Dorothy Mildred Bailey Lee

Funeral: 3 p.m. Wednesday in Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel, Pastor Nathan Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mildred was born May 1, 1920, in Arlington, to William and May Bailey. She was a beautician by trade and an artist at heart. She married the love of her life, J.K. Lee, on June 19, 1938. Mildred was a dedicated Christian woman who was a member of Tate Springs Baptist Church of Arlington as well as the Tie That Binds Class of the Second Baptist Church of Katy.

Mildred was preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 60 years, J.K. Lee, and their son, Johnny K. Lee Jr.

Survivors: Son, Don Lee and wife, Tommie, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; daughters, Allonia McCoy and husband, Dewey Jr., of Katy, and Peggy Knight and husband, Rusty, of Missouri City; daughter-in-law, Virginia Lee; sister, Ruby Jones of Grand Prairie; grandchildren, Daroma Brown, Damara Lucia, Dewey McCoy III, Stormy Lavelle, Paxton Knight, Justin Lee, Jason Lee, Johnny K. Lee III and James Lee; great-grandchildren, Kyleigh Lucia, Reagan Lucia, Laycie Brown, Savana Brown, Dillon McCoy, Brody McCoy, Cheyanne McCoy, Charlton McCoy, Louise Lavelle, Martin Lavelle, Tiffany Lee, Jayden Lee, Gregg Lee, Chase Lee, Avery Lee, Austin Lee, Cameron Lee, Alexis Lee; and great-great-grandchild: Cody Lavelle.
