Doris Marie Bedunah

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack of Fort Worth; son, Donald of Missoula, Montana; and brothers, Aubrey, Bill, Charlie, and Buster of Henderson, Jack of Lufkin; sisters, Hazel of Teague and Mertie Nell of Henderson; and grandson, Michael of Fort Worth.

She was born Doris Marie Duran on May 16, 1927, in Pine Hill, Texas, to Jack and Era Lee Duran. Doris grew up with five brothers, Aubrey, Bill, Charlie, Buster, and Jack, and three sisters Hazel, Mertie Nell, and Betty on a cotton farm outside Pinehill, Texas, during the Great Depression.

She married Jack Bedunah October 30,1946 and was a Fort Worth resident for 66 years where she raised four sons: John, Donald, Steven, and Mark. She attended TCU and worked as a Registered Nurse for All Saints Episcopal Hospital until her retirement.

Doris was an avid bridge player, gardener, and square dancer being a member of the Circle 8 Dance Club. She was a member of Edge Park United Methodist Church.

Doris is survived by her sister Betty Johnson of Longview, Texas, and her children, John Bedunah and wife Pam of Fort Worth, Steven Bedunah and wife Melisa of Wichita Falls, and Mark Bedunah and wife Kelli of Bedford.

Her grandchildren include: Jennifer Davis of Aledo, Jason Bedunah and wife Ruby of Dallas, Dylan Bedunah and wife Stephanie of Burleson, Andrew Bedunah of Seattle, Washington, Justin Bedunah and wife Danielle of Benbrook, Eric Bedunah and wife Whitney of Sachse, Brittany and Delaney Bedunah of Wichita Falls, Scott Bedunah and wife Liza of Southlake, Kyle Bedunah and wife Whitney of Henderson, Kassie Bedunah of Argyle, Kaille Bedunah of Bedford, Michael (deceased), and many great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
