Retired Staff Sargent, Donald M. Peters, 81 of Watauga, Texas passed away Tuesday morning, January 7, 2020. He was born on October 7, 1938 in Galveston, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Theresa Peters, his loving wife Roberta Peters, his son, Martin Peters and his sister, Theresa Rubino.

Donald served 30 years in the US Air Force and the Army Reserve where he was a jet mechanic and medic. He retired from Lockheed Martin where he worked as a Graphic Illustrator. He enjoyed cooking, drawing and painting. He loved all sports, especially basketball and his favorite team was the Dallas Mavericks. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather and a friend to everyone.

He is survived by his daughters, Micki Browning and Tonya McBride; grandchildren, Kori Ingram, Aerin Doheny and Tori Ingram; great-grandchildren, Kassen Riley, Dalevin Howard, III and Korra Bray; niece, Kelly Talbert and nephew, Paul Rubino.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 11:00 am at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, Fort Worth, Texas, 76148.
