The Legend and Time of Deslond Isaiah Freeman (Dezy)
On February 14, 1997 at 1:18 am, Deslond Isaiah Freeman was born to Misty Lorraine James (Shores) and Deslond Kamon Freeman in Dallas, Texas. As the oldest, his siblings Isaiah Kamon Freeman, Hannah Olivia James and Jaxon Lindsey James were the love of his life, along with his dog X, or as he would always say Xavier as his “Fancy” name was his pride and joy.
Deslond Isaiah's passion for football began as a young boy playing with the YMCA, AMG Panthers, and grew through his Senior Year as a “REBEL” at North Richland Hills High School. Immediately following high school graduation in 2015, he joined the United States Marines Corps and earned rank as Sergeant in the 14th Marine Regiment as one of “the few, the proud, the brave” and attended Tarrant County College.
In his free time, Deslond Isaiah enjoyed nature, adventures, stargazing, cooking, reading, and mixed martial arts (MMA) where he gained respect as the “Disney Villain” with a 2-1 record with The Junkyard Dogs, training at The GYM under his mentor and Coach Brandon Click.
On September 2 at 12:44 am, this world lost a beautiful soul that will never be forgotten. Deslond Isaiah gained his wings and joined his grandmothers Dorothy Freeman and Beth Shores, and great- grandmothers Clara Bell Freeman, and grandfather Clifford Jordan. He was loved, cherished and survived by his stepmom Jenifer Smith and stepdad Jason James, great-grandmother Helen Jordan, and grandparents Rocky Shores, Mary Cranon and Douglas Cook. Aunts and Uncles, Stacy Shores, Desmonick (Shawnie) Freeman, and Troya Howard (Charles), Durmon Freeman, Dedrian Freeman, and Dionte Freeman.
