Deborah Jean, known as Debra K came into this world on July 10, 1951 in Fort Worth, Texas to the Union of William Harper and Essie Mae Brown. She professed a hope in Christ at an early age at Prince Memorial Missionary Baptist Church.

Debra was educated in the Fort Worth school District, later attending High school at IM Terrell and graduate class of 1969. Upon graduating High School, she work for Tandy Corporation for 30 plus years and later Child Care Associates.

Debra K. was a very considerate person she cared about her family. She wasn't wealthy but would definitely feed you. She was a fighter, stood her ground and never backed down from no one. She came across as being a tough person but had a heart of gold.

Debra K was a gourmet cook, she loved to entertain family and friends, and we will sincerely miss her cooking and smile.

Preceding her in death by her parents, Essie Bostic, and William Harper: Sister, Bernice Webster: and Brother Leroy Brown.

On January 4, 2022, God decided it was time for him to bring her home to be with him. She had served her purpose and fulfilled his plan here on earth. God knew she lived a good life, and that she was tired and weary. It was now time for tranquility. The world lost an incredible woman. She is in a better place with her loved ones

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, honor and most of all her legacy, her devoted sons, Jerrail Brown of Fort Worth, Texas and Marcus Brown (Sabrina) of Houston, Texas.

She also leaves behind two grandchildren: Octavia Brown and Myles Brown. Siblings: Joe Taylor, Edward Brown (Clarese), Blair Brown, and Michael Brown, Harrison Ray Bostic and William Dan Bostic: one sister Delphine Brown all of Fort Worth, Texas. Along with nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of family and friends.
