AGNES -- David D. Jones, 91, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011.
Service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Agnes Baptist Church. Interment: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
David was born in Cisco on July 11, 1920. He was an Army veteran who served his country during World War II. Formerly of Fort Worth, he was a resident of Agnes for 23 years. David retired from Fruehauf Hobbs Trailers after 44 years.
Survivors: Wife of 70 years, Erma Jones; daughters, Marie Jones and Pat Smith; sister, Mary Lois Clemmer; and his four-legged canine, Rowdy.
