Daniel Wayne Anderson Sr.

Daniel Wayne Anderson Sr. was born on February 14, 1966 to the parentage of the late George W. Anderson and Bertha Lee (Smith) Anderson in Shreveport, Louisiana. The family relocated to Dallas , Texas in 1969.

Daniel graduated in 1984 from J.F. Kimball High School in Dallas, Texas. He then went on to touch the lives of everyone he encountered throughout his career as a dedicated truck driver.

He married his loving wife Debora on February 25, 2000. Upholding the vows they made before Christ, they remained married until his unfortunate death on October 13, 2023.

In his free time Daniel enjoyed going to the gun range, having a beer under the tree, and taking names in dominoes and pool. Above all he enjoyed spending quality time with the ones he loved most.

Daniel was a devoted husband, father , grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Daniel is preceded in death by his mother Bertha L. (Smith) Anderson, father George W. Anderson Jr., and sister Georgette L. Anderson-Ewery.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories:

Wife, Debora Anderson; Children, Daniel Anderson Jr., Maurice Johnson, Jacorian Davis, Antwaun Davis , Taniqua Crawford, and Sherlorian Anderson; Two sisters, Stacy Anderson and Deirdra Anderson; Two brothers, Anthony Anderson Sr. and Derrick Anderson; Grandchildren, Alexander, Maxwell, Cruz, Anthony, Jacorian jr., Zoie, and Kacyn; Nieces and nephews, Anthony Anderson Jr., Genon Davis, Malcom Davis, Jeremy Oneal, Alexander Ewery, Gabrielle Anderson, Joshua Anderson, and Hannah Anderson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Daniel's kindness, generosity, and warm spirit touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be remembered for his love of family, his friendship to many, his unwavering support, and the cherished moments he shared with those he held dear.
