Cindy was born in Fort Worth, Texas on March 22, 1945. She graduated from Poly High School and received a Bachelor of Education Degree from Texas Wesleyan University. Cindy was married to Richard Bransom on June 12, 1964. Cindy was married to Richard for 34 years before he passed in 2001.
For many years Cindy worked as a reading specialist teacher in the Burleson Independent School District. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, gardening and cooking, and she loved Elvis Presley.
Cindy is survived by her daughter Camille Bransom; grandchildren Grace Bransom (Fiancé Wyatt Berry), Tanner and Carter Bransom; great-grandchildren Phoebe and Autumn Bransom; sisters Libby Baker (Mike) of Arlington and Melinda Crites (Cliff) of Burleson; niece Cara Zachry (Doug); and many lifelong friends, especially the “Poly Girls”. Cindy was preceded in death by her husband James Richard Bransom; son Keith Bransom; and her parents Granville and Rita Flowers.
The family wishes to thank Keyonte “Keekee” Davis for helping care for Cindy during the last year as well as a host of other family and friends who cared for her.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on June 27, 2024. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on June 28, 2024 at Laurel Land Cemetery of Fort Worth. Burial will follow the funeral at Laurel Land Cemetery. Gloria Gillaspie will be officiating. Serving as Pallbearers will be Wyatt Berry, Stephen Reed, Shannon Stephens, Justin Keeton, Cliff Crites and Taylor Henry.
