He was an amazing father and a dedicated husband. Curtis proudly served in the Navy as a Petty Officer. He dedicated 33 years of his life to the LTV Aircraft assembly plant in Grand Prairie, TX, which underwent various name changes over the years. His retirement from Vought Aircraft in 2001 allowed him to prioritize his time with his beloved family, whom he adored spending time with. Curtis had a passion for hunting, craftsmanship, and cherished moments with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Etta and Alfred Temple; and his brother Cecil Temple. He leaves behind his loving wife, Mary Temple; daughters Trena Martin and her husband Eddie, Elizabeth Fowler and her husband Michael, Amanda Turner and her husband Gideon. Curtis was also blessed with grandchildren Leah, Hagen and his wife Breanna Turner, Hailey, Audrey, Savana Turner, Quinn, and Logan Fowler.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Sunday, April 14th, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the main building. A funeral service honoring Curtis's life will be held on Monday, April 15th at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Chimes at Laurel Land Funeral Home and Cemetery. All services will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76134.
