Clara Dale Stanley

Clara Dale Ransom Stanley, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away September 8, 2022, in Granbury, Texas. She was born November 23, 1937, in Georgetown, Texas to the late Noah Wilbur Ransom and Thelma Frances Sawyer Ransom.

Clara graduated from Tarrant County Junior College with her Associate Degree in Drafting after she had raised three children. She was an amazing cook, talented artist and admired computer drafter. Clara later retired from General Dynamics and her and John traveled the country in their RV. After traveling, they settled in a lake cottage on Lake Weatherford. That was her happy place. She loved the views of the lake from their sitting room as well as fishing for Crappie off their dock. Clara was a devoted friend to all she met.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Stanley. She is survived by her brother Tom Ransom, children Terry Stanley and Justine, Pam Stanley, Diane Martin and husband Tim as well as 5 grandchildren, Joseph, Charles, Haley, Adam, and Clayton. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Graveside services will be Friday, September 16, 2022, at Laurel Land Funeral Home Mausoleum in Fort Worth, TX., under the direction of Laurel Land Funeral Home, Fort Worth, Texas.
