Claire Teresa Schaber

SCHABER,Claire Teresa (Nulty) of North Richland Hills, TX, passed away March 15th, after her courageous third battle with cancer at the age of 65. Beloved wife of Donald Schaber. Daughter of the late Marie (Young) and James Nulty of New York, her sister Loretta Nulty Spaulding and her husband Jack of Needham, MA, her brother Neil Nulty of Lebenon, NH,and her late brother Brian Nulty and his wife Barbara of Little Rock, AR. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Claire is a graduate of St Agnes Academic High School, College Point New York and Kenyon College, Gambier Ohio. Claire had a wonderful career working at the Arkansas Gazette as executive assistant to the publisher, then at Kitchen Fair in Jacksonville, AR and Arlington, TX also as the executive assistant to the president. Claire recently retired as the executive assistant to the president at VCC Construction in The Colony, TX. Her passion was traveling to places like Asia, Africa, South America, the South Pacific, Europe and many cruises to all parts of the world. Claire loved her Boxers and her many rescue dogs.

At the request of Claire’s family, Funeral Services will be private at Shannon Rufe Funeral Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, Fort Worth, TX. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society of Little Rock, AR, or the Humane Society of Pulaski County, AR
