Clifford J. Williamson, 83, of Everman, Texas, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, December 13, 2019. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2019, in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Hallmark Baptist Church.
Clifford “Pop” Williamson was born in Huddy, Kentucky on July 2, 1936, and was the oldest of ten. He served his country honorably in the Air Force 1954-57 and Reserve 1957-63. Cliff was an active member of Hallmark Baptist Church since 1967. He served the City of Everman, the Lion’s Club, and sat on the Board of Everman ISD. His mission work and service helped to build shelters and schools in Ukraine and Kenya.
Cliff cherished his wife “girlfriend” and best friend, Kathy. He was a pillar of strength for his family and devoutly loved his church.
He was preceded in death by parents, Clayton and Eleanor; sisters, Mildred Willis and Barbara Wood.
Cliff is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Kathy; daughter Debbie Williamson (Britt Weatherby); brothers Dennis Williamson (Mary Ann), Everett Williamson (Jean), Roger Williamson (Marilyn), Dean Williamson (Bonnie), and Robert Williamson (Jo Anne); sisters Mary Blackburn and Sara Thompson (Joe); grandchildren Ryan Henson (Brittney), Jessica Havard (Jill), Zachary Henson (Kacie); great-grandchildren Lexi, Lucie, Ellie, Ella, Zachary, and Oliver; a long list of nieces, nephews, and beloved friends; and Buddy, his very special four-legged companion.
