Christopher "Chris" Haywood Allen, 73, of Fort Worth, TX. passed away Monday January 20, 2020.
Chris was born in Beaumont, TX. on June 22, 1946 and married Sharon Taylor on December 30, 1989 in Fort Worth. He graduated from Pascal High School and from University of Texas at Arlington with a Business degree and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War where he was seriously wounded. Chris was a business consultant before establishing a promotion company he ran for many years before retirement. As a baby boomer, he was a dedicated fan of Beatles music and an avid reader and movie fan. Chris was multilingual fluent in Danish and Spanish.
Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Vernell Pedersen and father, Billy Allen. .
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Lee Allen; stepdaughter, Courtney Amason (Bryan); step grandchildren, Codi Walters, Blayne and Myles Amason; sister, Melissa Christensen; brother, Jim Allen; and Nephews Christian Brumley, Bradley Allen and Codi Amason (Kaden)
