Cathy Simmons

Cathy Simmons, 66, lost her battle with cancer on July 12, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. She was born October 13, 1950 in Tecumeh, OK to Floyd Adamson Sr. & Peggy (Epperson) Rogers & Bill Rogers which played a big part in raising Cathy. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m. July 25, 2017 at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Home.

Cathy was a long time resident of the Fort Worth area and worked for Dr. Mark Hammonds where she made lots of wonderful lifetime friends and loved caring for others. Cathy really loved spending time with family and friends. She was always on the go and always made everyone around her feel loved and welcome.

Cathy is survived by her three sons: James Sikes & wife Shannon, Greg Sikes & wife Stacy and Robert "Wheezier" Sikes & wife Jennifer; grandchildren: JD Sikes, Joseph Sikes & Zachary Pillow; great-grandchildren: Davian, Cain & Kira Sikes; brother, Floyd Adamson Jr.; nephew, great-niece, aunt, cousins and many other wonderful life long friends.
