Carolyn W. Rogers, 79, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014, peacefully in her sleep after a lengthy bout with Alzheimer's disease.
Service: In keeping with her wishes, there will be no service or memorial. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association.
Carolyn was born Sept. 2, 1934, in Boyd to Chesley Walker and Roberta Talley. She attended Carter Riverside High School and worked in the real estate business. She enjoyed playing bridge and square dancing as well as pet animals.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl, in July 2010.
Survivors: Husband, Joe T. Rogers; sons, Randy and Mike; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
