Carolyn Lee Fields

Carolyn Lee FIELDS, age 57, of Arlington, Texas passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020. Carolyn was born October 15, 1962 in Louisville, MS to the late Ruth M. Hampton and Willie D. Hampton. She was the eighth of eleven siblings. She was educated within Louisville Public Schools before making her to Texas during her early adult life, where she met her lifetime partner and husband Raumone.

Carolyn obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington and worked as a Registered Oncology Nurse at Medical City Arlington for over ten years. Carolyn was a devout Christian and attended New Life Fellowship Church in Arlington, Texas. Carolyn was known as a soft, quiet spirit with a raging passion for helping others. After extraordinary care by nurses during an extended illness in 1996 she was determined to give back and this set the course for her career. Carolyn was preceded in death by her two infant sons, parents Ruth and Willie D. Hampton, infant brother Morris Hampton, and 2 brothers-in-law Kenneth Mason, Sr. and Thomas S. Jones.

To cherish memories of her forever and celebrate her life, Carolyn leaves behind; her devoted husband of 31years Raumone Fields; loving daughter Kiana Fields; 4 brothers, Calvin Hampton (Linda), Randy Hampton (Tanga), Harvey Hampton (Linda), Frederick Hampton (Mechelle); 6 sisters, Vettiest Mason, Jessie Jones, Eldorado Hampton, Theresa Liggans (Jack), Glendaria Hampton and Margo Hearns, cherished friend and god mother for her daughter, Anita Jones and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends.
