Carol Ann Huffman

Carol Ann McKissack Huffman passed from this world on September 3rd, 2015 at the young age of 72. Carol was born December 28th, 1942 in Fort Worth, Texas, at Harris Hospital to her loving parents, Effie Harris McKissack and John E. McKissack. Carol graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington and married William Edward Huffman in 1964. Carol enjoyed her profession as a Medical Technologist at Harris Hospital for 46 years, 1965 to 2011. She loved her job and her coworkers. Carol is survived by her husband of almost 51 years, Bill, daughter Teri Huffman Webb, son Steven K. Huffman, and three grandchildren. Carol loved all animals, especially cats. She will be missed and thought of often. Visitation and celebration of Carol’s life will be held on Monday September 7th, from 2-4:00 pm at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel and Cemetery. Graveside services will be held also at Shannon Rose Hill on Tuesday, September 8th at 10:00 am. Donations may be made in rememberance to the Fort Worth Alzheimer’s Association.
