Carmen Michele Washington
Carmen Michele (Barmie) Washington was born May 28th, 1966 to Linda and Mitchell Washington in Fort Worth, Texas. She remained tied to her Fort Worth roots throughout her life and attended O.D. Wyatt High school where she graduated in the class of 1984.
She met her soulmate, Anthony Douglas, in 2001 and together they filled a home with love and care for their daughter, Jasmine Washington. Carmen obtained her medical assistant certification in 2007 and worked at The Neighborhood Doctor in Arlington, Texas for many years. She touched the lives of many in her role in the office, patients and co-workers alike.
Carmen accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior as a child and maintained her faithfulness in the Lord as a member of the Historic Greater Saint James Baptist Church. She shared her love for the Church and God with everyone she met and there is no doubt she is in Jesus’ loving arms at this time.
Carmen leaves her legacy to her daughter, Jasmine Washington, mother, Linda Washington, siblings, Gjekarta Daniels (William Daniels), and Mitchell Washington (Latonya Hines). She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will miss her dearly.
II Timothy 4:7-8 – “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”
