RICHLAND HILLS -- Carl Edward "Ed" Crites passed away March 01, 2011 in North Richland Hills.
Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Burial to follow immediately after at Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Ed was born September 21, 1925 to John and Florence Crites in Wise County. He attended high school at Roanoke High School and later went to work for Collier Industries for 37 years before he retired. He was a member of Meadowbrook United Methodist Church in Fort Worth. He also attended Roanoke Senior Citizens. He was an avid reader and loved fishing and hunting.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents; brothers David Crites and W.T.Crites.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 47 years, Betty; son Wayne Crites (Jessie) ; granddaughters, Jennifer Crites and Lisa Berry; 1 great-granddaughter; brothers Calvin and Harry Crites; sister, Louise Crites; and many more family and friends.
