WILLOW PARK -- Bobby Joe Goode, 65, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014, at home.
Memorial service: 3 p.m. Thursday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
Bobby was born Oct. 1, 1948, in Denton to Minter and Bernice Goode. He was a longtime resident of Fort Worth. He graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1966 and worked in various professions until settling in the construction business. Bobby was happiest while at the lake with family or taking trips with Kathy.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Tony Barnes.
Survivors: Wife, Kathy Goode; son, Bryan and his wife, Stacy Goode; stepchildren, Kristy and Mitch Melson, Byron and Lori Terrell, and Debbie Terrell-Adams; sisters, Patricia Prophitt and Marie and her husband, Bobby Gillingham; eight grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many close friends.
