Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Friday at Beth-Eden Baptist Church, Dr. B.R. Daniels pastor, officiating. Interment: Garden of Memory in Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: Bobbie Jean's friends may visit her 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday as she lies in sweet slumber in the Veronica Chapel of Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors.
Her husband, Melvin Mackey, preceded her in death in 2005.
Survivors: Left with fond and precious memories are her brother, W.G. Sanders; special nieces, Demetria O'Conner (Timothy), Vickie Carter; dear friends, Vernell Johnson, Helen King, Martha Gardner and Johnnie Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
