Billy Howard Boyd was born January 21, 1933 in Granbury, Texas. He passed away on March 25, 2024 at the Frank M. Tejada Texas State Veterans Home in Floresville, Texas.
He served in the Army during the Korean War, held various warehouse management positions throughout his career, attended church at the First Baptist Church of Horseshoe Bend, loved playing golf with his golfing buddies and he especially liked stopping for breakfast with them on their way to whatever golf course was calling their name that particular day.
He was a loving and supportive father and a wonderful husband.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings and their spouses, and his wife – Bobbie Boyd - of almost 59 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Susan Dunn and her husband, Mark; grandchildren, Adrienne Hall and her husband, Beau, and Tyler Dunn; great-grandchildren Reece, Jett, Sloane, Connor and Tennyson; and numerous other extended relatives.
