Beverly “Belle” Ann Henderson, beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, aunt, and niece. On Wednesday morning December 28, 2022, Beverly Henderson surrendered to the call of her lord and transitioned from earth to glory.
Beverly was the oldest of her siblings, she was born on July 24, 1949, to Felton and Eddie Smith in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a 1967 graduate of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School. Respectfully after graduation she attended Ranger Junior College.
On March 12, 1970, she married the love of her life JB Henderson.
In 1973 She began her work career at Radio Shack. In 1980 she started a career at Bunge Oil Corporation where she was the second female to be hired. Beverly received the 1993 Award for Outstanding Contribution to Quality at the Fort Worth plant. She represented her work group on the Employee Relations Committee and the Safety Committee. She was a Union Steward for numerous years and work for the benefit of her fellow employees. She was known for taking personal pride in the development and training of new employees. She retired after 26 years working at Bunge in April 2006.
She accepted Christ at an early age. As a member of Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, she was part of the Mission Board. Beverly was over the Kitchen Ministry for several years until her health prevented her to stop. She continued to be an active member of Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church.
Preceded earlier in death her husband JB Henderson, son Christopher Henderson and father Felton Smith.
Beverly leaves to cherish her precious memories: her beloved children Son Marvin Henderson (Raven Henderson), Daughter Me’Shawn Henderson, Son Reginald Henderson, Mother Eddie Smith, Sisters Sheila Smith, Dariah Bedgood (Clifford Bedgood), Grandchildren Rachel Kincade, Brian Kincade Jr., Dae’dra Alexander, Great-grandchildren Legend Derrick, Aquila Davilla, Nephew Earnest Walker as well as a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
