Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Laurel Land Chapel of the Chimes in Fort Worth. Interment: 1 p.m. in Oakdale Cemetery in Stephenville.
Betty was born and raised in Stephenville, where she married her husband of 60 years, Thomas D., in June 1950. Betty "Meme" Carver became matriarch of the Carver family. An avid doll collector and maker, Betty enjoyed attending doll shows and collecting antiques. Betty volunteered her time at several local senior centers. She believed that spending time with family was paramount.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Thomas D. Carver; and son, David.
Survivors: Daughter, Linda; grandchildren, Keri, Deven, Russell, Daniel, Randall, Brandi and Jennifer; and 10 great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved very deeply.
