Bennye Jo Worsham

Memorial service: 1 p.m. Friday at Shannon Rose Hill in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sagamore Baptist Church.

Bennye Jo was born July 7, 1924, in Gunter. She was married to Hugh Worsham for 64 years. Bennye Jo was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the executive secretary for General Industrial Supply for 32 years. Benny Jo was an active member of Sagamore Hill Baptist Church for 60 years where she also taught a young women's Sunday school class for over 30 years. She was a caring and gracious lady, filled with incredible wisdom. Her life was truly an example of taking "one day at a time." We loved her dearly and will miss her every day until we meet her again in heaven.

Benny Jo was preceded in death by her husband.

Survivors: Daughters, Sandra Montgomery and husband, Bill, Cindi Wood and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Wes Montgomery and wife, Sherry, Kim Hassell and husband, Jeff, Lauren Edens and husband, Matt, and Meredith Wood; and great-grandchildren, Micah and Jacob Montgomery, Caden Edens, and Alex and Madison Griffin.
