Austin Wayne Crabtree

Austin Wayne Crabtree, 24, of Weatherford, Texas passed away Thursday June 13th, 2024. He was born in Arlington, Texas, on May 24, 2000. Austin attended school in the Kennedale school district including RF Patterson and James A Arthur, and he graduated from Kennedale High School in 2018.

As a young boy, Austin found his love of baseball. His dad and his older brother coached him for many years. Austin played sports including football and basketball, but baseball was his passion. He played baseball all four years in high school.

Austin was a charismatic guy with a lot of charm, infectious smile, and a great sense of humor. He loved people and would chat with anyone. He worked at a supervisor at Albertsons, his home away from home, and his co-workers were his second family.

He is survived by his parents, Heath and Sandra Crabtree, siblings Jacob, Emily, and Brenna, sister-in-law Ashton Crabtree, great grandmother Dorothy Green, grandmothers Marlene Glenn and Patricia King, uncle Charles Crabtree, aunts Ashleigh Swanson and Lisa Smith, uncle and aunt Gary and Debbie Crabtree, uncle and aunt Kevin and Sarah Gregory, and many loving cousins.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth for their incredible care and compassion provided to Austin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Donate Life in Austin’s memory Donate Life Texas.

A visitation for Austin will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134, followed by a Celebration of Life from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
