Visitation will be Monday, July 9, at 10:00 am at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel and Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas, with funeral services following at 11:00 am.
Audrey was born on October 16, 1934, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Emmett Taylor and Virgie Riley Taylor. She graduated from Ardmore High School and then moved to Fort Worth, Texas, where she worked as a secretary and later met the love of her life, Gus Kelly, also known as Dino. They married on November 15, 1968, and lived in Arlington, Texas, where she became a stay-at-home mom raising her three young sons. She loved to travel and spent time visiting Europe on many occasions and she also enjoyed playing bridge with friends for many years. Her relationship with her Heavenly Father played a significant part in her life and she loved Him with all her heart. She delighted in spending time with family and especially with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She was feisty, fun and loving and had a belly laugh that was contagious!
Audrey was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Dino; her parents; two brothers, Virgil Taylor and Wayne Taylor and a sister, Jean Gillespie.
She is survived by her three sons; David Shaw of Grandview, Texas; Les Shaw and wife, Molly, of Mansfield, Texas; and Randy Shaw of Lafayette, Louisiana. Grandchildren, Michael Shaw; Sara Wendt; Jessica Bailey and husband, Andrew; Taylor Shaw; Samantha Orchard and husband, Tanner; and Parker Shaw. Great grandchildren, Kayla Wendt; Zoe, Erin and Jace Bailey; June Shaw and two more on the way! A sister, Nancy Lang, and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by many who knew and loved her.
