Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel with interment following in Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Arthur Brown was born April 27, 1932, in Keene, N.H., to Stanley and Maude Johnston Brown. He came to Texas while serving in the United States Air Force. Brownie was a lifelong mechanic and owned three businesses in the Fort Worth area. He was a good and fair mechanic and had many loyal customers. In his spare time he liked to fish, travel, and attend automotive auctions and swap meets all over. Brownie was a loving husband. He cared for his first wife, Jeane before her passing in 1980, and then again cared for his second wife, Patsy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Maggie and Joyce; first wife, Jeane Brown; second wife, Patsy Brown; and great-grandson, Daniel Delpho.
Survivors: Children, Cathy Harston, Stanley "Buster" Brown and Betty (Cortney) Butcher; stepson, Ricky Malone; twin sister, Amy Duke; grandchildren, Danny (Amber) Butcher, Bradley (Lindi) Harston, Jeanetta Brown (Mitchell Chow), Tammy (Michael) Treadwell, Margaret "Nicki" (Matt) Rowe, Stanley "Bubba" Brown Jr., Jamie Malone and Justin (Cathleen) Malone; and great-grandchildren, Trinity Delpho, Haylie Dean-Butcher, Michael Treadwell Jr., Danny Butcher Jr., William Brown, Greyson Lee Treadwell, Madason Malone, Briar Malone and Colton Malone.
