Anthony Joseph gently departed from this world, surrounded by his loving family shortly before his 86th birthday, at his home in Argyle, TX, on Sunday, December 1, 2024. Born on December 6, 1938, in Midland, PA, Anthony lived a full and remarkable life. At the age of 17, he chose to serve his country by joining the Marines, fulfilling his duty from 1956 to 1960 and rising to the rank of Staff Sergeant.
One of the most cherished moments of Anthony’s life unfolded on Friday, October 13, 1961, when he met Faye Lynn Balser, the love of his life. Their connection blossomed rapidly, leading them to elope on February 21, 1962. With a spirit of adventure, they soon moved to California, where Tony dedicated himself to building a fulfilling life for Lynn and their four children. In 1996, they embraced a heartfelt opportunity to acquire Double A Glass in Covina, CA. It became a cherished space where he lovingly shared his most valued craft with his four sons, creating a strong bond as the family worked together.
Anthony was a gifted craftsman who found joy in creating with his hands. His most treasured skill was the art of stained glass, which allowed him to craft stunning windows filled with vibrant colors and intricate details.
Above all else, Anthony held his family dear to his heart. His beautiful love story with Lynn is one that will echo through the ages. For more than sixty years, he faithfully honored his vows, leaving a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He exemplified the essence of true love, offering a heartfelt reminder of what it means to care deeply for one another.
Anthony was preceded in death by his beloved parents, John and Mary Joseph, his sister Marilyn Joseph, brother Ben Joseph, and grandson Alexander Joseph.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Faye Lynn Balser Joseph; sister, Shirley Hull; four sons and their wives: Mark and Gloria Joseph, Martin and Gina Joseph, Jeffery and Christine Joseph, and Jereme and Monica Joseph. He was also blessed with ten grandchildren: Ashley Joseph, Matthew Marx, Jeffery A. Joseph, Caitlin Israel, Allison Joseph, Bridget Joseph, Lauren Kelley, Brian Joseph, Rileigh Haas, and Jessica Joseph; and eight great-grandchildren: King Conly, Khloe Conly, Liam Marx, Jamie Lynn Joseph, Jeffery Joseph, Jr., Amora Joseph, Nora Kelley, and Mia Kelley.
