Ruth was born August 14th, 1927 to Maggie and L S Fisher. She graduated from Birdville High School and was married to August Warren Pierce, Jr. for fifty-one years. Ruth lived in the Saginaw area for most of her life, where she enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, mother and father, one sister and one brother.
Daughter and best friend, Jana Hamman and husband Jim Hamman; son A.W. Pierce III and Wife Sheila Pierce; grandchildren, Blake and wife Lisa Pierce, Kimberly Pierce, Janae and husband Kevin Chapman, Jared Hamman; great grandchildren Fincher Pierce, Jackson and Eason Chapman; four brothers and sisters; and innumerable family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at Saginaw United Methodist Church, 209 South Bluebonnet Street, Saginaw, TX on Tuesday, April 25th at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel & Cemetery, Fort Worth, TX.
