Ann was born in Danville, Illinois on October 6, 1932, the daughter of the late Harold and Edna (Grebe) Drews. Ann graduated from Danville High School in 1950. She moved to Evansville, Indiana where she met and married Reynold W. Kunz, a teacher and organist at Redeemer Lutheran Church in 1957. Ren and Ann were blessed with 63 years of marriage. They moved to Houston where they added to their family a daughter, Enid and a son, David.
Ann was a faithful wife and moved with her husband and family to Knoxville, TN, Houston, Tomball, Corpus Christi and Ft. Worth, TX. She held various jobs from being a store-clerk at Foley’s, to the Sears credit department, to being an accounts receivable representative for GTE. Ann focused on her family and enjoyed caring for her children and the other teachers that worked with her husband.
Ann enjoyed hosting parties and making others feel welcome. Ann loved to serve, worship, and fellowship at each church she attended. While living in Ft. Worth she was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, where she would be found on Sundays sitting on the front row and monthly at the senior game day often winning at Dominoes. Ann’s greatest joy was her Savior, Jesus Christ and she loved to speak about Him and what He had done in her life to all who would listen.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Edna Drews; her sister Eda Becker; her infant daughter Karen Kunz; her loving husband Reynold Kunz; and her infant great granddaughter Hope Havis.

One thing I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek;
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek Him in His temple.
