Alice Oswalda Coffey

Alice Oswalda Coffey was born on July 22, 1930, in Assebroek, Belgium to Evelyn and Oswald J Lamsens.

Alice is preceded in death by: (Husband) Billy Carl Coffey, (Parents) Oswald and Evelyne Lamsens, (Siblings) Evelyn Farmer, Russell Lamsens, Karen Lamsens, and Great Great Grandchild; Macey Coffey.

Alice is Survived by: (Sons), Alan Coffey and his wife Pam Coffey, Billy Coffey Jr and (Daughter), Threcia Pentecost. (Grand Children), Jerome Coffey and his wife Mellissa Coffey, Cassandra Coffey Case and Chase Coffey. Great Grandchildren Brooke Coffey, Alyssa Coffey, Taylor Maroon, Trey Maroon and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

Alice will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. She was a caring, helpful and loving person and she was always there to lend a helping hand for anyone who needed it.

In the 1960s she was a leader of the Campfire Girls group in Burleson. In 1967 Alice and her husband Bill Coffey opened Coffey Transmission in Ft Worth and ran a successful business for many years until passing it onto the next generation in 1986. In the 70s Alice and her husband also ran the 1898 House BBQ restaurant in Burleson.

After retiring in 1986 she and Bill started a new journey in life with the Texas Sesquicentennial Wagon Train with a ride around Texas for 6 months. After that Alice traveled to many places and loved every minute of her life doing so. She shared her travel adventures with so many friends, family, and grandchildren.

Alice, you will be a memory no one will ever forget.

A visitation for Alice will be held Monday, October 23, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX 76134. A funeral service will occur Monday, October 23, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX 76134. A committal service will occur Monday, October 23, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Mountain Peak Cemetery, 1760-1866 FM875, Midlothian, TX 76065.
