William "Bill" H. F. Schroeder

William “Bill” H.F. Schroeder, 82, died on Friday January 11, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was the son of the late William and Flora Schroeder, and a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he retired in 1992 form Zoellner Pistons, after 35 years of service.

He is survived by his children; Pamala K. Morvilius, Steven A. (Yvonne) Schroeder, Bruce E. (Martha) Schroeder, Julie A. (Bret) Rickman, and Kimberly S. (Mark) Young, brother-in-laws; Duane Wake, and Robert Pennington, sister-in-law; Betty Schroeder as well as 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Carol J. Schroeder, son-in-law; Eugene Morvilius, granddaughter; Nicole Morvilius, brother; Herbert J. Schroeder, and sister; Phyllis Pennington.

Funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, January 15, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, with calling one hour prior. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Calling will also be held from 4 to 8 PM Monday, January 14, at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be given to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, or Bethlehem Food Bank, Fort Wayne.
