William R. LEPPER, age 89, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022. William was born December 22, 1932 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was the son of the late Frank W. and Elizabeth (Lesh) Lepper. William graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School in 1950. He was a long time member of St. Michael Lutheran Church of Fort Wayne, Indiana. William served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. He married Marlene A. Poinsett on September 24, 1955, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He worked as an electrician for 45 years. He was a proud member of The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local #305 since February 1, 1951. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah A. Bartrom of Columbia City, Indiana, Son Jay T. (Kerilyn) Lepper of Columbus, Indiana, grandsons Daniel Bartrom and Arron Bartrom of Columbia City, Indiana, granddaughter Rachel Parker of Churubusco, Indiana, great-grandaughters DeLaney Parker and MicKensey Parker, and brother Robert D. (Ellen) Lepper of Springfield, Missouri. William was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years on January 2, 2015, and two great-granddaughters Nevaeh and Kirsta Parker. As per Williams request there will be no calling and no service. There will be a private burial at a later date.
