Willard Bryce Shull, 102, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away December 6, 2023. He was born June 28, 1921 in Marion, Indiana, the son of the late Willard G. and Dana (Moore) Shull. He graduated from Central High School, Fort Wayne in 1942 and was a member of the Central High School Association. Willard proudly served his country and was a US Army WWII Veteran serving in the Philippines, New Guinea and Australia.
He retired in 1982 as a Specification Clerk at International Harvester after forty-one years of service. Willard was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Willard is survived by his son, Linwood B. (Martha) Shull of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Sara (Eric) Hood, Ben (Jamie) Shull, Aimee (Mike) Felger, Casee Paige, and Elizabeth (David) Cain; twelve great grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren; nieces, Cassandra Hebermehl, Regina Hahn and Stephanie Rooker; nephews, Reggie Shull and Roger Moore; and sister-in-law, Marilyn Cosper.
He was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of fifty-nine years, Virginia Mae Shull; son, Barry Shull; brother, Reginald E. Shull; and half-brother, John R Millspaugh.
Funeral service is 11:00 am Friday December 15, Zion Lutheran Church, 2313 S. Hanna Street with calling one hour prior. Friends and family will be received from 4:00 pm -7:00 pm Thursday, December 14 at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Avenue Fort Wayne. Entombment at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
