Wilbur K. Bell, 91, of Bradenton, FL, passed away Friday, June 1, 2012 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home. He was born, September 25, 1920 to the late Charles and Celia (Hoover) Bell and grew up in Ossian. He graduated from Ossian High School in 1939. He retired from Rea Magnet Wire in 1982 after 41 years. He was a WWII Veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge for 50 years. He was also a member of Winona Lake Presbyterian Church and REA retirees. He enjoyed shuffleboard, euchre, golf, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered as Mr. Fixit and for donating and volunteering to the Red Cross. He is survived by his daughters, Ginger (Ted) Bell-Koehlinger, of Monroeville and Peggy (Randee) Bell-Robison, of Ft. Wayne, his grandchildren, Robb (Melissa) Robison and Ross Robison both of Ft. Wayne. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Donna (Moore) Bell and four siblings. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Ft. Wayne with calling starting at 12:30 pm. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
