Wanda May McLeod, born June 4, 1929 preceded in death by her late husband, Hartley McLeod, Sr. Wanda, 93, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022 with Jesus gently taking her hand. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Pauline Jones. An avid Bridge and Euchre player she also loved to read, fish, and bowl. A graduate of Central High School and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Ms. Wanda will be greatly missed by friends and family. Survived by her children, Pamela (Pat) Downs and Hartley (Susan) McLeod, Jr.; siblings, Connie (Frank) Collar, Steve (Jane) Jones, and Tom (Jan) Jones; grandchildren, Patrick Downs, Lindsay (Cameron) Brubaker, Hartley (Shalin) McLeod, III, Michelle (Wayne) Decker, Nancy (Mike) Moline, Michael, Tristan Getts; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Johnny (Mary) Getts; and brother, Bill (Patty) Jones. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 609 Putnam St., Fort Wayne (IN 46808) with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Memorials to Trinity UMC.
