Wanda Mae Hart

Wanda Mae Hart, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at her home. She was born May 31, 1928 in Fort Wayne, daughter to the late Sherman and Marie (Kruse) Forst. She was a member of Elmhurst Church of the Nazarene and had worked in food service for Fort Wayne Community Schools at Portage Middle School. Surviving her are her sons, Daniel Hart of South Whitley, IN, James (Cindy) Hart of Columbia City, IN, and Perry (Cathy) Hart of Avilla, IN; grandchildren, Lori, Daniel, Kristin, Shane (Stacey), Amanda (Kenny), Douglas, and Travis (Mindy); and 11 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Max Hart in 1980; sister, Phyllis Allen; and brother, Wayne Forst. Funeral services will be Monday, October 24, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819 with visitation two hours prior. Burial will be at Lindenwood Cemetery. Contributions in Wanda's memory may be made to Elmhurst Church of the Nazarene or Donor's Choice.
