Wanda M. Beggs

Wanda M. Beggs, 89, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville. She was born in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Bearl and Birdie Grabeal. Wanda worked as a Secretary with Local 305 IBEW for 21 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, She was a determined and outgoing lady that had a passion for life. She loved spending time and laughing with her children and grandchildren. Wanda's hobbies included sewing, crocheting, tending to her flower and vegetable garden and playing the piano and organ. Surviving are her children Denzel L. (Kathy) Beggs of Reading PA; Debra L. (Brian) Haffner of Corunna, IN; Dwayne (Susan) Beggs of Findlay, OH; 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Rev.Alvin Beggs in 2012. Service is at 10:00 am, Thursday June 21, 2018 at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road with calling one hour, with Rev. William Foss officiating. Calling also Wednesday, June 20, 2018, from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project.
