Virginia Elenora Walters

Virginia Elenora Walters, 86, of Huntertown, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born August 31, 1933 in Baltimore, MD., she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Elenora (Dishman) Webster. She was employed with Beta Shoe Company for several years and was a wonderful homemaker for her family. She enjoyed playing cards, watching the Hallmark Channel and Golden Girls, visiting the beach, and ice-skating in her younger years. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and treasured all the memories they made together. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Susan Ross) Walters of Mentone, Ind., Patricia Conn of Martin, Ky., Deborah (Jack) Walker of Huntertown, Ind., Jeffery (Annette) Walters of Winona Lake, Ind., Tammy Rex of Argos, Ind., Mike Walters of Mentone, Ind., and Cindy (Stanley) Curry of Prestonsburg, Ky.; 11 grandchildren, Tisha Crouse, Randy Conn, Gabriel Gates, Ginger Ott, Melissa Smith, Shaunnette Mildred, Karra Hatcher, Michael Rex, Ashley Salzer, Derek Rex, and Misty Spurlock; and 23 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her lifelong partner, Charles Griffin; sons-in-law, Burl Conn and Joe Rex; sisters, Gloria Mangano and Edwina Mullenax; and brother, Harvey “Bud” Webster Jr. Memorial Service is Noon on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Advantage Funeral Home, 2403 E. Wallen Road., Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Elder Jeffery Walters officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
